Off to the ranch we headed to prepare for the last week of school before Christmas break. We had LOTS of baking, assembling and wrapping to do for all of the treats we planned on sharing with friends and teachers at school. Thanks to my Aunt Carla for sharing her much larger kitchen at the ranch with us, not to mention counter and table space! With her help we baked 3 dozen cookies, packed & assembled a total of 75 snack bags for each day of school (we were in charge of daily snacks for the class), AND managed to ride out and feed the longhorns before the day was done! Hopefully the first of many holiday baking days at the ranch, thanks Aunt Carla, we love you!
We had to finish up some assembly and a few more batches at home...but our efforts turned out beautiful & delicious too!
