12th Anniversary Wkd JW Marriot

12 YEARS! We celebrated this milestone with a long weekend together at the JW Marriot in SA. I will have to say, one of my favorite resorts in the states, excellent choice for a getaway, without having to commit to planes, passports, or anything complicated. We arrived Thursday, and had plans to relax, enjoy the spa & pools, relax some more, reminisce about how time has flown by, and of course, indulge in delicious food & drinks. Kirby's Steakhouse was worth leaving the property for (and they had a shuttle!) on Friday night, and we happily snacked and ordered food from the hotel restaurants the rest of the time...




Saturday we awoke to beautiful sunny weather and rented a cabana for the day, poolside. We also had my parents and kids come up for a couple of hours to enjoy the day, cabana, and celebrate Luke's 3rd Birthday, which was Friday. I KNOW it sounds crazy to have them crash our weekend, but it was only for a little while and they absolutely LOVED it, not to mention my guilt for missing Luke's birthday...FUN FUN FUN in the sun!


Sooooooo Mike was a little sunburnt...so much so that we were sent this sweet little note, bottle of wine, and after sun aloe to our room from one of the nice managers downstairs! Love you so much babe! Enjoyed our weekend together.

Red Poppy Festival

Austin has festivals. Lots of them. Big, small, musical, foodie, you name it! We live about 25 miles north of downtown Austin outside of Georgetown, which has its own little small town festivals that we LOVE! The Red Poppy festival was full of live music, food, vendors on the downtown square, and if you walked through any of the surrounding downtown streets, red poppies everywhere! Stunning...

Dance Photos

I love love love Hannah's costume, and so does she! I got a practice run at hair and makeup for her Saturday afternoon dance pictures at the studio, I think it went pretty well! Even though her class is a combo of ballet, tap and jazz, they are only performing one ballet number in the upcoming June recital. So at least for this year, only one costume to work with! So proud of my little dancer!

Breakfast...tailgating!

Who says you need a sporting event to tailgate??? All we needed was some good friends, delicious donuts, and the school parking lot one morning! D O N U T S!

Swim Time

Hannah and Luke began official swim lessons at Aqua Tots, a cute little place I found accepting new students. I am so proud of both of them and cannot wait to see how they both excel at their skills in the water!

Running With the Angels 2016

Hannah had a great day running with ALL the angels at Holy Family, for the yearly school wide fundraiser. Thanks to every who sponsored her, cheered her on (hooray Daddy and Lukey were there!), and made the day so much fun! GO HANNAH! Hooray Holy Family Blue Angels!

Kiddie Acres

Happy Birthday to sweet Madilyn, our dance friend! We had so much fun (despite the rain), celebrating her 5th birthday party. That's what rain-boots and raincoats are for, right? Kiddie Acres is a vintage little park, my kids loved the pony rides, carousel, and train and enjoyed trying all the rides by the end of the party. Memorable day, fun birthday party, thanks for having us Madilyn!
