Trick or Treat!

Hannah dressed up as a beautiful princess for Halloween...tiara and all! She loves that dress and wants to wear it all the time - I see more princess gowns in our future for playing dress up! It was chilly, and Hannah and I are both getting over colds so we didn't stay out long but visited enough neighbors to fill her little pumpkin bag - and take some pics on the porch!

After trick-or-treating - it was time for Halloween pj's, The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, and looking through candy & treats! Happy Halloween everyone!

Curious Lanie's Party!

Hannah had a blast monkeying around at Lanie's 2nd birthday party! The best part was of course the birthday cake - which both Hannah and I enjoyed! Hooray for cake! Happy birthday sweet Lanie!

Fall

Due to the years my family spent living in Ohio...I definately became accustomed to some spectacular fall seasons! Driving around town recently, I had to stop and take some pics of some of the beautiful hillsides and foliage. OH HAPPY FALL!

Announcement

Happy and blessed to announce that a second sweet baby is on the way! Hannah is one proud big sister-to-be!

From the fullness of His grace; we have received one gracious blessing after another.

Almost Big Girl Bed...

So this weekend we decided to remove one of the sides to Hannah's crib and convert it to a "toddler" bed...AND Hannah did awesome! For now, she still stands up and calls for us to come get her out of bed, from naps and also in the morning! She is so excited for her new bed - hopefully when we set up her big girl room after Christmas she will love it just as much!

My Granny Dee

In Loving Memory of Omadee Oliveira Garcia
August 18, 1927 - October 2, 2012

I absolutely love these photos of my grandmother and grandfather. Especially of the one where they are dancing at our wedding, a blessed time before Granny Dee's health started to decline. High school sweethearts who shared a lifetime together - 64 years of marriage, 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. My Granny will be dearly missed by those she left behind - heaven is one lucky place.

The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me on the path of righteousness
for His name's sake.

Though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
for you are with me;
Your rod and staff comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my ememies.
You annoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely your goodness and mercy
will follow me; All the days of my life.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23
