NOLA

"Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!"

Ok, so we definitely had our fun, delighted to be able to go out and satisfy our inner foodie selves...however the trip was not just for us, we were actually there for a wedding! So much fun to catch up with good friends, and relax! Dylan & Kristen, CONGRATULATIONS! We loved your town, had a fabulous weekend, and enjoyed a very authentic Cajun' wedding, including a delicious boucherie, AND the gator who graced us with its presence!

Sea World of Texas

The last time we visited Sea World...Hannah was little, I think a little over a year old. At five, Sea World was a whole new experience, and she had a blast along with her lil' bro, who really surprised us all, at how much he enjoyed being there! Three adults, three kids, one stroller, lots of sunscreen, snacks, ice cream, and some frozen lemonades made for a great day...we made it to ALL the shows and Luke even napped in his stroller! It was hot...but lots of water and lots of stops in the shade, along with some indoor shows, kept everyone going. Hannah won her first stuffed animal at the arcade, and rode her first roller coaster! Luke was pumped for the carousel, and still talks about going back to Sea World with Jason to ride Minimus...he chose to ride a purpleish horse (like the one on Sofia the First) on the carousel. The kids really did enjoy the animals, dolphins and whales earned top spots, and all the shows were quite entertaining, my favorite being the Azul show featuring beluga whales and dolphins but also with acrobats and choreographed divers too, very Cirque du Soleil. Shamu, always a crowd pleaser, so beautiful to watch. Our day came to a close with delicious Mexican food (outside of the park) and we all slept well that night! What a fun adventure, great day everyone!

Back at the ranch...

God,
Please tell mama that REAL
Cowboys don't take baths...
They just DUST OFF.
-Amen

My babies will grow up to be cowboys...and cowgirls which is fine with me! Ranch life is the best life and when we live only an hour from the ranch, well, every weekend is a ranch weekend! Thanks to Aunt Carla & Uncle Joey for letting us "live" at the ranch this summer, we sure have enjoyed it!
