St. Anthony of Padua 1195-1231
Padua, or Padova, Italy was beautiful. The Basilica of St. Anthony had a breathtaking interior, as did the surrounding piazzas, gardens, and statues. Again, pictures just cannot capture the sheer size and impact these places have on you - truly amazing. Snacks anyone? You just cannot imagine the quality of food in these tiny shops & bakeries, filled with delicious pastries, pizzas, fresh pasta, bread - all scratch made daily...yummmmm. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, taking in all the sights, even the ordinary was beautiful! Our late lunch with a view to remember...a stunning piazza. Love, love, love this country!
