5 Months Old!

A five month update:

Likes:
sitting up while playing
holding her toes!!!
watching people eat
baby babble and squealing
bath time (she LOVES the water!)
sucking on her fingers
being sung too...I'm a little teapot is a fav!
Sophie her teething giraffe (we don't leave home w/o it)

Dislikes:
having her clothes changed
napping
teething
occasionally the car...but much better now than before!

I love spending my days with Hannah - she is so alert, curious about everything, and usually super smiley! Mostly, she is content just watching and listening to me narrate the day's tasks...I think her favorite is when I wash dishes - she usually reaches out towards the faucet to play with the water! She is growing so fast - I am so thankful that I am home to play, watch and love her all the time! Thanks Mike for working so hard - Hannah and I miss you and love you very much every day!

A Trip to Tate Farms

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year!!! I love everything about it - the weather, football, my favorite holiday - Thanksgiving and my birthday! Growing up, I have great memories of fall activities and of course want Hannah to have them too! Sooooo off we went to a pumpkin picking farm this past Saturday! Never too soon to start! It was a gorgeous day to be outside and Mike, Hannah and I had a good time! Hannah can almost sit up on her own...so we did our best to prop her up in the pumpkins! I couldn't imagine a better way to spend a beautiful fall morning than out with my husband and my daughter!

We tried to get Hannah to 'sit' in the pumpkins...she was only interested in trying to eat them!

Fun Times in Florida!

Hannah will soon be five months old and has traveled to Jackson Hole, WY, San Antonio, TX, and as of this past weekend Pensacola, FL. We love to travel with Hannah to visit friends and family! We had a blast visiting our friends Laura and Scott, and their girls Mallory and Lindsey - we cooked, ate, drove out to the beach, ate some more, watched football (AU vs. KY good game!), cooked, ate again - so much fun! The girls were so excited to meet Miss Hannah and of course to see their beloved Mr. Mike! Thanks to Laura and Scott for being such great friends and hosting us!

4 Months Old!

Ok - so this post is long overdue...but better late than never! What has Hannah been up to? A lot! Here are some of the new and exciting things our little girl is doing!

Hannah loves...
rolling over
traveling on airplanes
singing and talking constantly (she sounds similiar to Ariel from the Little Mermaid)
sitting up almost on her own
the isty bitsy spider song
her bumbo seat
smiling!!! we love this one :-)
holding toys...and then putting them in her mouth
bath time OR just watching/being near water
and...tried RICE cereal and likes it! Hooray!

Not so much...
being gassy
napping for longer than 30 minutes
waiting to be fed
having her faced wiped clean from cereal or drool

Some of our favorite pics of Hannah this month!

Hannah's Baptism

"One Lord, one faith, one baptism."
Ephesians 4:5

On a beautiful Texas morning, our daughter was baptized - surrounded by family and friends, in the church where Mike and I exchanged our wedding vows a little over six years ago - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting! Hannah wore my baptismal gown, bonnet and shoes - so special, thanks mom for saving it all those years! Proud Godparents, Aunt Carla and Uncle Daniel, along with Jay (we missed you Dana) did an amazing job at church and the ceremony went so well. Such a special event in Hannah's life...what a blessed weekend!

Noisy Hannah!

I meant to share these video clips much sooner...however, here they are now! Enjoy the new sounds of Hannah! Between making any of her toys sing or rattle, and being strong enough to play music on some - Hannah's playtime, along with her own voice, is quite loud! Some of her 'high' notes are quite up there on the scales! Music to our ears though - we love to hear her squeal with delight anytime of day!
