Lazy Days in Llano
Love visiting the ranch in Llano whenever we can, so when Aunt Carla told us about the three new horses that were visiting, we headed out to meet them of course! The wildflowers were beautiful, thanks to all the rain we had, our favorites were the purple horse mint (who comes up with these names?) and the Indian blankets (this one makes more sense) weren't they gorgeous! We drove all over the ranch looking for wildflowers, in between our horse visits and feedings.
The kids were happy to help out, feeding and brushing all the horses, Palie,(a beautiful Palomino) Prince, Cisco (who always lives at the ranch) and Cisco 2.0, as the other nameless horse was called since he looked exactly like Cisco. Aunt Carla spoils us so much! Stories, popcicles & ice cream, AND lets us invade her house...who knew three people needed this many shoes for a few days at the ranch?!? *We all do own cowboy boots, however, due to the rain, we packed wellies for the mud and muck! Love you Aunt Carla, see you again soon!
