I admit, I have posted many BBQ outings since our move to Texas, but each place leads us closer and closer to eating at as many of the BEST TX BBQ joints as possible! Slight detour on our way home from Houston...we landed in Lockhart, which some say is the best town for BBQ in Texas. We had a progressive dinner and ate our way through two of the most talked about places, Black's (my favorite) and Smitty's (they had run out of brisket). DELICIOUS! Kids loved it too, mostly eating ribs and sausage, finger lickin' good! Check another town off the list!
