Houston Trip Day 2: Sunday Funday

After a very long day at the rodeo...everyone was ready to go back to the hotel. Mike checked us in earlier that afternoon, I stayed in the car with sleeping kiddos, and WOW did he have a surprise for us! An upgrade to a very nice and very large two room suite...amazing.

The kids were so excited (our little travelers, they love hotels) and of course wanted to know why don't we have big rooms every time we stay in a hotel!? Sigh...enjoy it while you can kiddos! We awoke to a feast of taquitos, and a quick swim with daddy before heading out to Lucy's party. Good bye amazing suite!


Lucy's party in the park was so much fun! Lots of familiar faces to visit with, Sarah (Lucy's mom) and I went to college together, as did many other party guests. Kids played, ran, and then got to eat made to order ice cream sandwiches from Smoosh! Awesome idea, and so delicious! Mike even had one, with you guessed it, maple bacon sprinkled on! Great party, great to see old friends, thanks Hans family for hosting!
