Happy Thanksgiving from Hannah!

Happy 31st to me!

I am always thankful that my birthday falls on or near Thanksgiving because it means I am able to celebrate with family! This year was no different - my parents took Hannah and I out to lunch at "Five Guys" (if you haven't tried it, they have yummy burgers!) where Hannah put on an eating show for us - check out her cheeks!


Later that night, my mom cooked a delicious dinner of chicken enchiladas (at my request) and made my traditional birthday cheesecake! We had such a nice family dinner at home and I loved it!
Sometimes it is the little things that matter most...the first birthday I celebrated with my daughter!

Receiving a surprise gift from my husband! Cannot wait to start baking/cooking for the holidays!

Having my mama cook me dinner and cheesecake with love!

And having my lil' sis around for birthday and anyday laughs!

I am truly blessed - thank you to my husband and family for making my birthday simple and soooo sweet! Just the way I like it!

6 Months Old!

6 Months?!?!? Time sure is flying by! I am trying to savor every moment I have with my precious little baby girl - every day I am amazed at how alert, attentive, and curious she is about everything I do! She continues to grow, talk, and move around - exploring her world with lots of smiles!

Likes:
bathtime is still quite enjoyable!
playing with her toes
sucking on her fingers
eating rice cereal (and now we will start other foods, but I'll post again on that!)
loves singing and music
reading books (she likes to turn the pages herself)
rolling around
water bottles
"thumping" her right leg when she is on her tummy
sitting up on her own!!!

Dislikes:
sometimes the car
when we take away our phones or the remote
when I am out of sight...(this one is recent!)
waiting to be fed



Family time is so precious but sometimes so impossible to have! I look forward to spending as much time with these two as I can! Mike is such a good daddy and I love when he actually gets to spend quality time with Hannah! (and with me too!)

Fall Trip to Texas!

Have I mentioned that Hannah loves to travel?! Good thing, because so do Mike and I! The last week of October, Hannah and I traveled to Texas for a fall visit! We had so much fun - the weather was beautiful, we visited with family and friends, and shopped till we dropped for winter clothes! Hooray!

She was an amazing little shopper...loved looking around and being strolled though the Shops at La Cantera! Even took a great nap by a fountain in her stroller! Love to shop and be with my parents - had such a great time, thanks Mom and Dad!

During our visit we ate lots of yummy Mexican food, of course went shopping, and got to attend cousin Jason's 2nd Birthday Party! So much fun - and Hannah got to wear her Halloween costume twice thanks to the party's 'Halloween' theme! Jason loves Hannah and since they first met at her baptism he talks about her all the time! So sweet! Weeks before the party he kept telling everyone that Hannah was coming! My aunt Carla drove in from Llano to visit and loved playing with Jason and Hannah!
