Happy birthday to our beautiful little girl, FIVE years old and full of life. So very blessed to have you Hannah! And what a lucky little birthday girl to spend it at the beach! (Although your mama had a little something to do with that scenario!)




After a lovely morning of church and walking on the beach...we got ready for Hannah's Pool Party! Hannah was so excited to find Anna & Elsa, Frozen Fever themed accessories and thanks to Etsy, I found cute party decorations to match. Big thanks to our good friends, the Lawrence family, for picking up the cake at Baskin Robbins and for driving out to the beach for the day to celebrate! Beautiful weather, perfect for swimming, ice cream cake, and snacks! Mike fired up the grill and we enjoyed delicious burgers, Hannah's favorite! The lobster was a huge hit, great pool float...fun for all! Little Olivia loved the pool, and Mallory and Lindsey showed off their cannonballs! Luke missed out on some of the fun due to naptime, but he had a blast too! Hannah, our birthday girl, couldn't have had more smiles throughout the afternoon! I think we know what kind of party to do next year!!!







After a long afternoon of swimming...the girls did head inside (very briefly) to open gifts! Hannah LOVED all her gifts but really really was excited about her Anna gown (thanks Nana & Papa) as well as princess nightgowns, legos, playdoh, and lots more! Our little beach house was the perfect setting for a party, thanks to my parents and Carla & Daniel for helping to coordinate everything for the party (and for the entire week) - an amazing birthday party enjoyed by all! Especially our birthday girl! Love you Hannah...

Hannah's Last Day of PreK

Last day of PreK for Hannah (and Lukey's one's class too)!

What a year! Hannah's last day of school happened to be the Friday before her birthday, how did she want to celebrate? Donuts of course! I brought in two dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme, one dozen with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, and one original glazed - both delicious! Happy Birthday to my sweet Hannah, she helped pass out napkins and donuts to her classmates and everyone enjoyed! Thanks to Miss Erica for letting us have donut time!


We will miss Treeschool SO much! Both Hannah and Luke loved their school and teachers - and so did I! Thanks Miss MJ (pictured) and Miss Jessica - Lukey loved you both! Great things were accomplished, friends were made, and we will take all those memories with us to our new schools! Thank you Rivertree and Treeschool for such a blessed school year.

End of Soccer

Hannah's soccer season came to a close...ups and downs for sure, but we are so proud of her for trying a new sport and sticking with it all the way through the season! Go Hannah!

Little Gym Dance Show

So this year we tried a new type of dance class at The Little Gym, part dance/part gym. Hannah did a great job trying new things in the gym, and did well dancing too! Miss Carol and Miss Kelly were awesome teachers, we will miss you! The end of the year "show" let you see a choreographed dance and the girls individually showed their new skills in the gym. What a fun little afternoon! Proud of you Hannah!

Donuts were delicious, who wouldn't want donuts?! Happy to share the morning with my sis, who of course happily joined us for Mother's Day donuts! Happy Mother's day to our AMAZING mom, miss you today but send all our love your way! Thanks to my husband for taking us for donuts, making a delicious brunch, and cooking a fabulous dinner! All while the kids and I were lounging poolside...great day! Lots of love to all the moms out there, hope your day was amazing too!

Mint Julios

Nothing says Kentucky Derby like ribs, grilled corn on the cob, and a random sombrero?! As Mike was texting to fellow derby enthusiasts...auto correct somehow kept changing Mint Juleps to Mint Julios - not a bad idea for a drink! Happy Derby to all!
