After heading to beach numerous times last summer (so lucky!)...I was determined to make the beach happen at least once before this summer ended! With both kiddos in tow, we headed to Pensacola to spend the week with Laura, Scott and the girls. The drive wasn't easy to do alone - but, worth it in the end! Hannah is amazing in the car and helped out a lot with Luke! He did AWESOME for being such a little baby - it was only the last 45 min of each 6 1/2 hour drive that he got fussy.
We spent time at Quietwater Beach, ate at Surf Burger, and of course loved spending time with the Lawrence family! The new food truck park downtown was fabulous! The grilled cheese truck (goat cheese in a grilled cheese = delish) and taco truck were amazing - I would eat those fried avocado slices right now!
The girls and Hannah played and played, and little Luke soaked up all the extra attention! Laura and I cooked and ate, relaxed and visited - just what this mommy needed! Missed having Mike with us but we know that a family beach trip is definitely in our future! Luke was the perfect beach bum and Hannah and I were happy lounging and playing! Love our beach adventures...happy summer!
