Jet Setter #2 - AKA Luke - and his travel pro sis Hannah, were excellent travelers as our family headed out on our first trip together! My college sorority sister Carolyn, known to all her friends as Gump (her last name), was getting married in Austin and luck had it that most of my girlfriends and their families were able to attend! Spending the weekend at the W in downtown Austin was fabulous, we ate lots of yummy Mexican food, soaked up the Texas sun and had a blast with old friends!
Then there was the wedding - it was amazing! It was the first wedding ever to be held inside the Moody Theater inside Austin City Limits! Wow! Complete with a gospel choir that performed before the ceremony, to the open bar & cocktail hour that begin before the ceremony - there was much fun to be had by all! Gump looked beautiful & everyone had a blast dancing the night away to the band, and the flash mob dance crew to Thriller, all under a peacock feather chandelier!
Even more fun the next morning when some of us headed to breakfast with the kiddos in tow! How amazing to see our children together - loved spending time with friends! Attempts at a group shot were not fantastic...but we tried! Miss everyone so much! Cannot wait until our next reunion!
