Soooooo...we signed Hannah up for soccer with her bff Julia, just to try it out. Well, the girls were of course put on separate teams (sigh) and then the weather and field conditions were terribly muddy and wet, much to Hannah's dismay. She has been a good sport so far, although lots of coaxing from us is sometimes needed to get her motivated...Mike even volunteered to be an assistant coach for her team. The next Mia Hamm? We shall see...she is one of the leading scorers on her team! (But only when she wants to be!) Goooooo Hannah!

Easter with Olivia
Our sweet little Olivia needed her cousins to show her a proper Easter egg hunt (even if it was a week late)! Hannah & Luke were old pro's at finding and gathering eggs, and quick to crack open the cascarones! Such a fun, yet messy, tradition, that I am happy to watch my kids learn to do! Olivia didn't seem to mind the confetti - and they all had fun! Happy Easter cute little cousins!

Shakalaka
Ok, so have you ever heard of these indoor trampoline places? There is one here in town (in a sketchy part of town I might add) and we were invited to a birthday party one Saturday afternoon. C-R-A-Z-Y!!! Loud dance party music, black walls with "graffiti" painted on them, and teenagers everywhere - it was like a rave...we nearly walked back out of the place when we got there. Luckily some other kiddos and their families walked in with us to the back party room, and luckily there was a small area that was 6 and under only...we survived (and I think in the end Hannah got comfortable enough with her little buddies from school and had a good time! Happy Birthday Penelope!
Gardening Girls
We successfully planted our garden! Thanks to my great helper Hannah, we planted: basil, thyme, Italian parsley, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, habanero peppers, and serano peppers - along with some marigolds! Last year our plants were huge and bountiful all summer long. Hope we have the same luck again!

Easter in Indy
A certain BB finals tournament, to be unnamed, happened to be played in Indianapolis this year - our gracious friends Lee & Dan welcomed us for the extended weekend AND for Easter! Amazing hosts, they spoiled us, but mostly spoiled our children the entire weekend! Hannah, always thrilled to be in the kitchen, loved helping Lee bake & cook. (Lee's food blog is one I follow & use). As for Luke, he was ready to eat anything, and share it with their dog, a little white Bichon, they became fast friends! Dan made us the most amazing waffles Easter morning, and then they even braved Easter mass with us, each one holding our sleeping children! Easter baskets brought many wonderful surprises, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunny day relaxing. We had a great weekend visiting with friends, (mixed in with some BBall watching too), and had a great Easter trip to Indianapolis! Thanks again Lee & Dan!
