Texas Spring Break

Hannah's school Spring Break was a week before Easter weekend, bummer, but we packed up to Texas and just celebrated a week early! The weather could not have been more beautiful and the kids had a blast! Luke definitely had a clue this year on egg hunting and Hannah did so well dying eggs. Who doesn't love cascarones? My kids do, and happily cracked them all! Luke had the most interesting technique, pushing in the tissue paper and just dumping out the confetti - maybe next year he will get the whole cracking on each others head tradition! He also didn't mind people cracking the eggs on his head, so that was a relief!

Easter Baskets from Nana & Papa (AKA the Texas Easter Bunny)

Sweet treats and big smiles...had a great visit, wish we could have stayed longer!!! Fun afternoons playing in the sun, steaks on the grill for dinner, delicious Texas sized desserts, our bellies and hearts were full - thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us! Happy (Palm Sunday) Easter!

Texas Bluebonnets

I love Spring in Texas! I was excited as a little girl (that is me in the first two pics) and still get excited every time I witness the sea of bluebonnets that take over each Spring. The sight of bluebonnets covering every hillside and field just makes me happy! Taking pictures in the bluebonnets is something every Texan has experienced, and my little Texans at heart had their moment in those beautiful flowers too!

Hannah's BFF Julia celebrated her 5th birthday at The Little Gym, rainbow style! Wasn't the cake beautiful? Lots of fun had by all, HAPPY HAPPY Birthday Jules!

Gracelyn's 4th Bday

Sweet Gracelyn celebrated her 4th Birthday with a superhero themed party. Our goddaughter has her hopes set on saving the world! Kids happily played, ate, and devoured their cake and ice cream and loved all the party balloons (which they got to take home!) Happy Birthday Gracelyn!

Hannah dressed up like Cindy Lou Who during her school's Dr. Seuess week...her hair was spot on (if I don't say so myself!)Fun times!

Olivia's 1st Birthday

Celebrated sweet Olivia's 1st birthday on Sunday - where did the year go? All the kids loved her new 3-seater wagon, and both Hannah and Luke happily helped open up her gifts! The singing letter bus for the fridge was definitely a favorite, these kids all love music, and we all enjoyed the chaos until it was time to leave for nap time! Thanks for having us over Carla & Daniel! We love our little niece & Goddaughter so much!
