12 YEARS! We celebrated this milestone with a long weekend together at the JW Marriot in SA. I will have to say, one of my favorite resorts in the states, excellent choice for a getaway, without having to commit to planes, passports, or anything complicated. We arrived Thursday, and had plans to relax, enjoy the spa & pools, relax some more, reminisce about how time has flown by, and of course, indulge in delicious food & drinks. Kirby's Steakhouse was worth leaving the property for (and they had a shuttle!) on Friday night, and we happily snacked and ordered food from the hotel restaurants the rest of the time...
Saturday we awoke to beautiful sunny weather and rented a cabana for the day, poolside. We also had my parents and kids come up for a couple of hours to enjoy the day, cabana, and celebrate Luke's 3rd Birthday, which was Friday. I KNOW it sounds crazy to have them crash our weekend, but it was only for a little while and they absolutely LOVED it, not to mention my guilt for missing Luke's birthday...FUN FUN FUN in the sun!
Sooooooo Mike was a little sunburnt...so much so that we were sent this sweet little note, bottle of wine, and after sun aloe to our room from one of the nice managers downstairs! Love you so much babe! Enjoyed our weekend together.
