We decided to take the long way home one afternoon from SA to Austin, detouring through Driftwood, TX to stop at the original Salt Lick BBQ joint. (We actually have a list of TX bbq that we want to try, makes for fun road trips!) The atmosphere did not disappoint, and the open pits were amazing. The bbq was good, the chocolate bottom pecan pie a la mode was great!!! Check another one off the list!
