DFW Trip

For an extremely last minute trip...we tried our very best to cram our weekend full of friends & fun (oh, and Mike went to the Final 4 games to cheer for KY)! We opted to drive the 10+ hours from our house, why not we said? we drive a lot of places? Hannah is an excellent and seasoned traveler...but Luke is still in training, yet surprisingly he did an amazing job for a little guy! After Mike confirmed his Final Four tickets (if he did posts this one would be a Final 4 post...but luckily I post and can fill it with pics of our fab TX friends instead) we were off! Speaking of friends, the Muirs, graciously accommodated us on very short notice AND coincidentally were also hosting a crawfish boil on Saturday afternoon! Had so much fun seeing familiar faces & meeting new little ones - what a great party! Thanks also to the Wrights for organzing a yummy Mexican food dinner Friday, and thanks to the Weems family for making the trip, Hannah and Quinn were fast friends, adorable! Loved seeing the Hill family & growing Mathew family too! Gosh I miss TX so much and I love that visiting makes my kids as happy as me too!

Off to Fort Worth for the rest of the weekend...so excited to meet baby Will! And of course excited to be with all the Fulton boys & Kelly too! Amazing how grown up the kids are - we ate and drank well (thanks to Jamie for sharing his delicious & award winning beer) and were very thankful for our last minute weekend with friends! As for the road trip home...one flat tire, one new tire, construction traffic, AND many many many hours later we arrived home exhausted!! Phew! What a weekend!
