...pack up and head to the BEACH of course! During the recent government shut down, our family took a mini vacation - no need to stay home, watch the news and become even more frustrated and angry right? RIGHT! Being furloughed is no fun, but Hannah, Luke & I did our best to cheer up Mike and be as supportive as we could be (thanks again to our good friends, the Lawrences, who hosted us on very short notice!) Highlights of our trip: being at the beach!!! enjoying sunny days, warm FL sun, eating delicious food - a burger joint called Tin Cow is a must if ever in Pensacola! - the Margaritaville Hotel and visiting good friends. Low points: tropical storm Karen, port-a-potty at Peg Leg Pete's, having to leave of course! Cheers to being beach bums!
