Hannah's 2nd Birthday Barnyard Bash!

Hannah is one lucky two year old - we celebrated her second 2nd birthday party with a barnyard themed party at our house! Homemade cupcakes by mommy, sliders on the grill by daddy and lots of fun with close friends and family! Shout out to my sis, "Aunt Carla" for helping prep, decorate, and clean up - couldn't have done it without you! Thanks to all who came to help celebrate, Hannah had a blast (and so did we)!

Family Beach Trip

Oh, how I love the beach! Our second annual May beach trip proved to be even better than last year! Hannah was so happy and content - and so were we! The weather was amazing and we spent as much time as possible outside, including all of our meals (those we cooked ourselves AND out to eat too)! We throughly enjoyed the fresh seafood near us and cooked and ate the most delicious meals - I think the view from the kitchen inspired me! Beach time was so peaceful...all three of us sat, read, watched and listened to the waves, people watched, played in the sand and enjoyed our days together!

The days went by so fast on our trip! We had a VERY important birthday to celebrate, had family beach photos taken - and of course, had to keep up with our eating, lounging, snacking, napping, and then eating some more schedule! Thanks to my husband for an amazing trip - love you so much - cannot wait until our next beach trip!

Mother's Day

Spent with my amazing little family...thank you to my husband for making it so sweet! Love my new screen door - thanks! I love being a mom every day, love and appreciate my own mother, and love passing all that love on to my daughter! There isn't anything quite like a mother's love and until I became a mom myself - I never really knew how great it was!

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is Love.
